| Surprise, Yes I even opened my Xanga, Sorry no pictures or any thing fancy, but just a note saying hi. What have I been doing with myself. Well, earlier this spring I gutted and remodeled my kitchen. (Maybe someday I will post pictures) and now I am finishing up on the final touches, under the counter lights, filling nail holes, (crown Molding, with the help of two individuals) and other finishing touches. Besides that of course I have the yard to work on and I just keep busy with life. Oh yea, I would be remiss not to mention starting to "hunt" for the cheapest tickets for flying to Florida for Cruise 2008. I will be traveling with a bunch of Traverse City folk, some I know some I don't for a weeks cruise in the Caribbean. This year my parents are actually joining the crew from Traverse City. I also am taking "ground School". Ground School is the first stage of becoming a pilot. I have no intentions of continuing on, but this is a good base of knowledge for me and I am enjoying the knowledge part. I am not enjoying the "class room" quiz, feeling like I am in college part. Well, I hope you fall goes well. Perhaps sometime before February 2008 I will update. Nathan | | |

Good Day from Grand Rapids Michigan where it truly is a Blizzard outside. There has been probably 12 inches of snow that has fallen in the last 12 hours. They are now expecting the wind to pick up and for visibility to be extremely bad later this afternoon into tomorrow. My police Scanner is so busy with accidents, highways shut down, there even telling officers to lower the air pressure in there tires on their car to get better traction. They also noted that they are looking for some 4 wheel drive vehicles. It is a great day to stay home and not to travel. I have used my snow blower once already today and I am sure I will be using it a few more times before this storm passes. Do any of you remember the blizzards of 1976 & 1978. (of course you have to be OLD enough) but the conditions outside remind of those years. I have heard officers say on the scanner multiple times “you would think these drivers would have brains to slow down” I trust you are all warm in cozy in whatever country, state, city, you are in. I will post a few pictures, they really don’t really don’t show how bad it is, but you will get the idea. Good bless and enjoy the snow, July 3 is only 6 months away. | Greeting to from cold and snowy Grand Rapids, where the snow has started to fall again. We have not had any major precipitation for about 40 days so snow again looks good. I even used my snow blower again this morning. I am enjoying the snow. YEA, Here are just a couple pictures from our Family Gathering in TC for Christmas and a party.
